Volunteers for SyncTunes?

I've been mulling this over for a while now and I think it is time that SyncTunes got more attention than I can give it. So if anyone feels that they want to get involved in the development please contact me here.

I haven't decided how to proceed with SyncTunes, but I'm open to suggestions (volunteer support within the current setup, or transfer to open source, shareware, commercial).

Finally release SyncTunes v2.0.0

Finally, the next release of SyncTunes is available. During the recent beta programme some fairly major updates were included and it seemed that a full version increase was appropriate, so the v1.7.0 beta is now released as SyncTunes v2.0.0.

Find out more about the new version here.

SyncTunes beta available [Updated]

I'm currently in the process of reviewing requests for SyncTunes and have already released a beta that includes PLS playlists, multiple playlists for iTunes folder playlists, support for automaunt NFS volumes.

[Update] Up to beta 5 and it now includes better synchronisation implemented for 'Replace' mode sync. For non-Simple Mode sync, the current tracks will be scanned and the un-needed files are removed before copying over any new tracks from iTunes. The result is a much faster sync for playlist that don't have wholesale changes between syncs.

You can find out more about the beta here.

New versions of Diabetes and Asthma Logbook X

I've just released new versions of both the logbook applications. The updates address reports, importing data, and a small bug. Find out more about them:

Importing data into Logbooks

Both Diabetes Logbook X and Asthma Logbook X has been updated to have more flexible support for importing data. The main aim was so that we could use a Palm database application, such as JFile, MobileDB, or Pilot DB, to record diabetes and asthma events while away from the Mac. Obviously, separate databases are needed for each logbook.

I discover an excellent freeware Mac application (MPC from Möötjelitt ) that helps to extract event data from Palm OS .pdb database files and into text files. These can be imported in the relevant Logbook application.
