Peak flow test: the peak flow reading. The unit is preset with the default from in User Settings. The peak flow level indicator is a graphical view of the peak flow value compared to the peak flow level limits from User Settings.

Administered: record the inhalers and medicine used.

Fields 'A' and 'B' are usually used for recording inhaler, specifically to help separate preventer and reliever inhalers, but can easiliy be used to record medicines too. The lists for 'A' and 'B' are ordered: inhalers first, followed by medicines.

Field 'C' is usually used for recording medicine, but can easiliy be used to record inhaler too. The list for 'C' is ordered: medicines first, followed by inhalers.

In the reports the 'A', 'B' and 'C' inhalers/medicines are distiguished by different text colours. Use User Settings to manage the list of inhalers and medicines.

Health: Record health related data such as is measured at home or at the clinic.

Track how you feel about your breathing and general state of health. These will then be plotted as bar charts against the Peak Flow events in the graph report.

In reports the weight and height can be converted into Body Mass Index, BMI (Kg/m²): if only weight is recorded in the event, when the report is created it will remember the latest height data that it has found in the requested date range and apply that height with the current event's weight data to calculate the BMI.

Note:
BMI can be a useful indicator of health, and it is provided for information purposes only: further non-authoritive information can be search for using Google and BMI calculators advice are available such as the US CDC site here. Use of the BMI should be done with the advice of your health team.

Note also that the BMI ranges for adults do not apply to children, for instance the US has published 'percentile' growth charts here that are applicable for its children.

Discard Changes: discard the new event (or discard changes to an existing event).

Save Event: save the new or modified event.
